Host Family Placement Services

Finding the right host family is key to a positive experience. We take this responsibility seriously.

  • Host families are referred by schools, friends, and community members
  • We conduct home visits, take photos/videos, and conduct family interviews
  • References are checked for all potential host families
  • We coordinate virtual interviews between the student's family and the host family
  • If both sides agree, a formal contract is signed
  • If not, we begin a new search immediately
  • Host Family Orientation: Workshops on cultural expectations, emergencies, and communication
  • Ongoing support to resolve issues and reassignments if needed
